I am a chemical regulatory affairs professional with academic, (fast moving) consumer goods, cosmetics, industrial and publishing experience who is looking for a long term and ideally a permanent senior position within a consultancy or industry.

I am available now and will consider remote or hybrid positions and if necessary relocation given a suggested suitable time frame. A knowledgeable, amiable and customer focussed individual who has been involved (and prior to their respective enactments into) with the EU legislation with the Registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemicals (REACh) regulation and the associated Classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP) directive. Increasing my knowledge daily of the UK equivalents.

I can bring any employer over 20 years experience in chemical hazard classification for supply and transport of substances and complex mixtures as well in the editing, content verification and authoring of safety data sheets and labels to the EU and UK CLP as well as numerous implementations of the UN Globally harmonised system of classification (GHS) and labelling of hazardous goods (chemicals) around the world. Along with over 30 years as a graduate analytical coatings chemist and patent literature researcher.

I also have experience in the application of the EU Aerosol dispensers, Cosmetics and Detergents regulations, the Restriction of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS2) and the Volatile organic compounds in decorative paints (VOC) directives. Outside the EU, I have been involved with California’s proposition 65 and US Dodd-Frank (Conflict free minerals (3TG) acts as numerous Australian and Canadian acts for many household names.

I have demonstrated my abilities by applying self taught and trained skills. Capable of hybrid working and team leadership remotely. Management experience within academia, fast moving consumer goods, publishing and fine chemical manufacturing industries. Available now for employment at a maximum of three months notice. EU REACH: PFAS Restriction Proposals

Annex VIII of CLP to be Revoked

Endocrine Disruptors - 1st CHCS Video

We have produced our first video for members: "Endocrine Disruptors", which is available to members free-of-charge.

This introductory video explains the various components of the human endocrine system and how they interact, to help understand the mechanisms of endocrine disruptors on human systems.
