Our Presenters
Gill Pagliuca, Secretary, Chemical Hazards Communication Society
Gill Pagliuca has over 30 years’ experience working in the area of chemical hazards and regulatory information. She has recently joined Ricardo as the Regulatory Products Knowledge Leader in the Chemical Risk Team. She provides advice and support to customers on REACH, CLP, BPR and Transport of Dangerous Goods regulations.
Prior to joining Ricardo, Gill was a consultant for Denehurst Chemical Safety Ltd for 13 years, where she carried out a range of projects including providing public and in-house training, preparation of required documents, including safety data sheets, classification documents and product labels, REACH registration dossiers, Chemical Safety Reports, etc. for a wide range of customers, ranging from major multi-national companies through to SMEs, and to public sector organisations as well as private companies.
Mark Spence, Chair, British Association of Dangerous Goods Professionals
Mark is a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA), Chair of the British Association of Dangerous Goods Professionals and President of the International Association of Dangerous Goods Safety Advisors (IASA).
Mark’s Dangerous Goods specialism has always been in Limited Quantities, Special Provisions & Exemptions. Mark qualified as an ISO Internal Auditor and was also re-accredited for ISO 9001 and assisted the organisation through their 9001:2015 transition. Once appointed as the Company DGSA, he was also heavily involved in the Class 7 side of their operation maintaining audits and internal training.
